Taken from Italy to America by Angelin Genovese in 1931.

A medium sized longish paste tomato that is longer than wide. Very nice robust appearance and sweet taste.

60 - 85- days – Indeterminate vines.

This is a great variety to grow. in that it begins to fruit early and continues for ages.

Very disease and pest resistant, it can get to 2 m high and 1.5 m spread, with braces of fruit at every opportunity.

The fruit is larger than a cherry tomato with an ox heart shape and a lovely mild taste that is good fresh, but preserves well also.

We cannot go a season without planting it.

It will do well in a container as long as it is well fed and watered.

80 days – Determinate vine.

An excellent tasting Italian paste variety with generous yields.

The deep red, pear shaped fruits (80mm) are solid and meaty and grow in clusters.

Low growing and sturdy, this is a very practical tomato if you don't have much space.

It grows well in large pots and, as long as it is well fed, it is not prone to major insect attacks.

It makes a fantastic paste that maintains it's colour well.
